INFO

Comprised of four residences within a heritage house plus a detached carriage home, this collection in the quaint Kitsilano neighbourhood pays tribute to the original owner and family of Jean Kay Macken. Reviving the timeless Arts and Craft style, this collection features architectural details like a steeply pitched roof, rafters that extend past the roofline, strong posts, multi-pane windows, and the use of local materials like wood. Interior finishings were selected with excellence in mind, including exquisite antique lighting fixtures that further pay homage to the authenticity of the heritage home.

The proportionate façade is amplified by an informal and eclectic plant array at the heart of the landscaping, which formalizes towards the neighbouring properties with clipped evergreen yew hedges. Meandering pathways pick up on key tones of the house, showcasing red herringbone pavers, while carefully placed outdoor patios give access to comfort in a private garden setting.
