Formwerks Architectural Inc. (FWA) is seeking a full-time Junior Interior Designer to join our team in Vancouver.

FWA is recognized for the creation of innovative, high-quality urban mixed-use developments, community planning, and both multi-family and single-family residential designs.

We are quickly growing mid-sized architectural design studio and as such offer the opportunity for junior people to grow within the firm, develop their skills, and eventually run projects. We are currently looking for a dedicated and passionate Junior Interior Designer.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously balancing design integrity with project deadlines and budgets
• Develop high quality presentation material, technical drawings, and construction details
• Attend client meetings, consultant coordination meetings, and site visits
• Organize and maintain product and material sample library

What we are looking for:

• University degree in Interior Design or equivalent Diploma from a recognized institution
• 1-3 years practical experience in an Interior Design or Architecture firm with a focus on residential work
• Proficient in computer drafting (Vectorworks preferred), SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite, and highly organized in file management
• Exceptional design and graphic abilities with keen attention to detail
• Detail oriented with effective written and verbal communication skills as well as a strong aptitude for teamwork
