1300 West King Edward Avenue, Vancouver
Multi-Family, Multiple Conversion Dwelling
Architecture, Interior Design
Built in 1929, Formwerks converted and renovated the existing main house and divided it into four units, three above grade and one basement unit. Furthermore, a two-dwelling infill unit was added in the South-East corner of the property, resulting in a total of six units on site. A significant preservation of the existing façade, and character features, like authentic period massing, the roof pitch, front entry porch, window openings, frames and details ensured that the original design aesthetic was communicated.
